Graham Rapp, AIA "The best projects are usually those where the architect is able to establish and maintain a close relationship with the client and his or her representatives. This is often impossible to do in larger firms that experience frequent changes of personnel." After completing architectural training at the University of Pennsylvania, Mr. Rapp studied a year at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London, England where he earned a Certificate in Architecture. He returned to the University of Pennsylvania in 1957 to pursue graduate work in city planning. Mr. Rapp's professional career began in 1956 in Philadelphia, Penn. when he was employed by the firm Harbeson, Hough, Livingston, and Lawson. In 1958, he joined the firm of Arrasmith and Judd. He has been a principal with the firm since 1965. He is a past board member of the Kentucky Society of Architects and past President of the State Board of Examination and Registration of Architects in Kentucky. Mr. Rapp was given the Oberwarth Award in 2002, recognizing his longstanding commitment to the betterment of the profession and the well being of architects in Kentucky. |
