Garhi Dupatta Memorial Hospital will be built as a memorial for the victims of the earthquake of October 2005. The hospital will have 75 beds in the first phase with plans to extend to a 350 bed state of the art medical center. The hospital will be constructed over an area of 10 acres with general medical, surgical, obstetrics, pediatrics, intensive care and rehabilitative facilities.
